He was Canada's most decorated First Nations soldier, serving in World War II and the Korean War .

Tommy Prince was born on October 25, 1915, in Petersfield, Manitoba, Canada. He was a member of the Brokenhead Ojibway Nation. He was awarded a total of 11 medals for his service in World War II and the Korean War .

Tommy Prince was also an Indigenous rights advocate. He died on November 25, 1977, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
